Located in the southwest of Honduras, Marcala is located in the Department of la Paz about 100 kilometres west of the capital of Honduras, Tegucigalpa. The region is known for coffee production, it is one of the few areas that still has predominantly traditional varietals like Catuai, Caturra, and Bourbon

Pacamara and Parainema planted. The region has ideal climatic conditions; high altitude, 1300 to 2300mm annual rainfall and temperatures ranging from 12-21ºC. All major contributors to this coffees flavour profile.

This coffee is Naturally processed, not an easy process at this altitude. The parchment is sun and machine dried. The altitute and the drying process contribute to the delicious flavours of chocolate, citrus and honey! A must try, this bean will be perfect for your morning latte.
